Galić Riesling Macerator
Slavonia and Baranja, Croatia
It is a great challenge to make a well-macerated wine, and thus the success of the macerated Riesling Galić Macerator is even greater. There is an author's signature here, of course. Maceration took place in concrete eggs, a highly prized technique for aging white wines, rather than underground amphorae. After that it was aged for a long time in oak barrels and still, today, five years after it is harvested, it has wonderful and rich acid fruits that still preserve a lot of florality and fruitiness of Riesling with additional aromas of linden, quince, dried apricots and long finish. This macerate should satisfy everyone, both lovers and experts.
