Bibich Lučica riserva
Dry white wine made from the debit variety from the eponymous 50-year-old Lučica vineyard. With approximately 3,500 vines, some 1,800 bottles are produced each year, i.e. about half a bottle per vine. The wine from the 2008 vintage, which is currently on the market, was produced by fermentation and aging on lees (sur lie) in new barrique American oak barrels for 24 months. Aroma of honey, dry apricot, vanilla, with a full taste, but still fresh and very smooth. Intriguing.
