Plavac is a full-bodied and very tannic wine that really benefits from barrique aging. The harvest was optimal and it helped softening tannins together with 12 months in used Croatian and French barrels. It has a typical varietal aroma of prunes and sweet spices. Grape comes from old vines of Plavac mali, from the central part of Peljesac peninsula making it less stringent and more harmonious.
