Description

A large blend in which each variety adds its own small contribution. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Pinot Noir and Refosco are all together in a wine that strives to be more than a mere sum of parts and relies on interplay or synergy of all varietal characters. It is certain that you will not be able to experience each one individually at the tasting, but that is not the goal of large blends. Here one thinks only of the goal, only of the overall impression. The wine is very rich in fruity aromas, mostly dark and black berries with occasional bursts of red, the tannins are slightly lowered and the wine is soft in the mouth. The aromas from aging are numerous, which is the result of different aging of each of the varieties.
