Korta Katarina Zinfandel

A beautiful ruby – colored wine, with fruity aromas of young and red fruit, of which cherries and red currants particularly stands out. The wine is young, with lively tannins and pleasantly accentuated acids, firm in structure and with good aging potential. The grapes come from vineyards located next to the winery, but unlike American zinfandel, it is much more intense and complex. Along with abundance of cherry sweetness there are notes of dark chocolate and sweet spices from aging in oak barrels for 15 months. The finish is long, with an intense taste of cherry jam and a perfect balance between maturity and freshness.
