Bols Apricot has been THE apricot liqueur for a very long time. One of Bols’ stronger liqueurs, Bols Apricot uses fresh apricot juice to give it a richer, fuller flavor that matches its golden-amber color. The apricot fruit’s stone, its kernel, is crushed, giving Bols Apricot a faint amaretto like flavor, supported by orange tones. Apricot liqueur is one of the oldest Bols liqueur recipes, dating back to the 19th century when it was called Crème de Noyaux. The apricot kernels used to be bought in Marseille and were kept in a barrel filled with brandy. The distillation of this mixture gave a great result. As well as being the original apricot liqueur in the Mai Tai, Zombie, and Paradise Martini, it is surprisingly tasty just with orange juice or Fever-Tree soda.

National Daiquiri
Ingredients: 30ml Bols Apricot Brandy, 45ml white rum, 15ml fresh lime juice
Shake all ingredients with ice. Fine strain in a pre-chilled cocktail glass.  Garnish with an apricot slice.
