It is made from the famous white grape pošip that grows best in the area of Čara on the island of Korčula. During the summer, a gentle breeze cools the vineyards, maintaining a moderate temperature and creating ideal conditions for growing white grape varieties. The wine was made in Trstenik on the Pelješac Peninsula under the supervision of Miljenko Grgić. The fermentation proceeded slowly in conditions of controlled low temperature of about 10 °C. Cold fermentation has preserved most of the distinctive varietal aromas of pošip. After fermentation, the wine aged for about four months in special 225-liter French oak barrels for white wine. With a small amount of air that goes through the pores in the wood, the wine breathes and develops. At the same time, vanilla extracts and pleasant oak aromas enrich the wine. The final maturation takes place in bottles in a cold cellar for about six months. During this time, the varietal aromas of pošip, as well as aroma and taste of oak are blended together into a unique bouquet typical of Grgić's wines.
