Bermet is a noble alcoholic beverage made from selected grape varieties from the sunny slopes of the Samobor Hills, as well as from wormwood, southern fruit and fragrant herbal substances that give it a specific aroma. Bermet is ruby red in color, with an alcohol content of 15 to 18 vol %. It has a rich and noble aroma and an accentuated bitterness from the wormwood. It is an old Samobor aperitif or digestif prepared as an old secret of the Filipec family - a secret which has been passed down for generations for almost 200 years. Even today Bermet is still a handmade product. Bermet is an original Croatian aperitif (digestif) that the Filipec family made into a recognizable product.
