The wine has an intense straw yellow color with some green tones. Upon pouring in the glass (medium recommendation, for young red wine, or for pinot noir), layered and intense aromas develop: first floral and then fruity (ripe grapefruit) and after a few seconds vinous with a slight honey scent and hints of coconut. Excellent balance of varietal features and wood. The body is full and juicy, the aftertaste is long. A strong and visibly muscular wine with distinctive flavors of peaches, apricots and apples. The wine should reach maturity in 6/12 or later. Minerality and freshness. Vinification: Careful mulching of grapes, separation of stems. Cryo-maceration for 24 h at 10-11 °C. Pressing, fermentation in acacia(70%) and oak (30%) barriques, “sur lie” and “bâtonnage” for 10 months, malolactic fermentation (MLF) in wood. Aging: 10 months in acacia and oak barrique barrels, a month in stainless steel, then bottles of 90-120 days. Bottled unfiltered, possible formation of wine lees.
