'Croatian Pinot Noir'. The light and gentle black variety gives red wines rich in aromas of raspberries, cherries, cherries and plums. Red wine that can be drunk only, without food, but which is also essential for a large part of gastronomy. It is specific to the northern part of Dalmatia, where it reaches high maturity, so the acids are moderate, and the few tannins that this variety has very easy to mature, and the result is one of the softer domestic red wines. Lasina is the undiscovered jewel of Croatian ampelography. Once upon a time, when strength and concentration were the law in domestic winemaking, lasina fell into the sidelines and found its role in regional blends where, in years of high tannins, it would lower its tannins with its softness. Interest is growing for lasina wines and, I believe, quite justified.
