Every Grand Vintage is a reinvention, an affirmation of know-how,by the Chef de Cave to reveal each vintage's unique character.Moët Grand Vintage Rosé 2012  is made with 42% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay, 23% Pinot Meunier. The wines made from black grapes, especially the Meunier, were particularly good, which is why they make up a major part of the assemblage. For once, the Chardonnay remains slightly in the background.
On the eyes coral pink with nuances of orange and a fine, persistent bead. On the nose, the first refreshing notes of pink grapefruit and blood orange are followed by notes of small red stone fruits such as Morello cherry before finishing on more botanical nuances of wild strawberry and rhubarb. The first impression is harmonious, soft and silky. The initially light, delicate texture asserts itself in a lightly astringent finish with notes of stone fruits such as Victoria plum or damson plum.
Grand Vintage Rosé 2012 is evocative of the transition from spring to summer, with a certain delicacy accompanied by freshness and nuances of coral.
