Over time, new sites have emerged and shown that plavac mali is a high-quality variety even beyond its native appellations. For example, such sites are Komarna and Tajano, where the Kiridžija winery has its vineyards. Kiridžija's plavac mali Tajano is a good example of a quality affordable wine. Imagine a fuller, more aged Dingač with slightly higher acids, and you have Tajano. Great wine with a great body, with plenty of soft tannins, ripe fruit and prunes both on the nose and in the mouth, but more affordable than most Dingač wines. At this price, we have ranked it highly among the aged plavac wines.
