A single-vineyard wine -"Teso de los Carriles" in Argujillo. More than a century-old vines growing at an altitude of 800 meters. The harvest is done manually, however, the removal is also manual with rigorous and careful selection of grape berries. Only French oak is used and the grapes are mulched by feet as back in the day. It was aged for 18 months and has been on the market since 2014. Extremely rich and complex wine. Ripe fruits such as plums and sour cherries are enhanced by the scents of dried flowers, violets and roses. Similar finish on the nose and in the mouth with the aromas of roasted almonds. The are plenty of tannins, but they are completely softened and almost silky. The wine highlights the terroir of Teso de los Carriles. The only thing that lasts longer than this wine's finish is your memory of it.
