Simčič Kozana is a "climate" wine determined by microlocation. The vineyard is located near the village of Kozana. The chardonnay vineyard is planted on a very shallow, thin layer of soil just above the bedrock. The vineyard is 26 years old and has always given grapes of exceptional quality. It is at a higher altitude, which has helped preserve its solid and beautiful texture. The wine was aged for ten months in oak barrels and was in touch with the fine lees. It's made in a creamy, buttery style, full of aromas of loquat, pineapple, dates, quince, hazelnut and vanilla. The aging potential is up to ten years.
