Since 1987, Batič Rosé has been crafted primarily from high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon, now complemented with a small portion of Merlot. For nearly three decades, the estate did not produce red Cabernet Sauvignon, reflecting its long-standing commitment to rosé. The vineyards are severely pruned to very low yields, resulting in deeper color and more concentrated character. The wine ferments spontaneously with indigenous yeasts and matures in stainless steel to preserve freshness. Bottling occurs in spring during the waxing moon. While designed to be enjoyed young, Batič Rosé shows above-average aging potential due to its low yields.
