A masterfully made great cuvée of the famous Sicilian nero d'avola variety with international syrah, merlot and cabernet franc. Nero d'avola is a delicate and floral variety that sometimes has violet-like scents. Other varieties give it a bit more fullness and build a soft, moderate body. Most harvesting is done before the end of August in order to preserve freshness and fruity aromas. The soil in the vineyards very rocky, so unnecessary moisture isn't retained.
