Korak

Viticulture and winemaking have traditionally been part of the Korak family for generations. Their wines are not a product of modern technology, but of a sensible merging of all that nature has to offer, tradition and new knowledge.

Five ha (12 acres) of vineyards are situated on the best sites throughout the wine region, i.e. on the southern, southeastern and southwestern slopes of the Plešivica vineyard amphitheaters, at an altitude of 350-400 meters.

The varieties grown are Rhine Riesling, Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, as well as Pinot Noir, Syrah and Portugieser. Fresh wine is fermented in stainless steel containers, but afterwards, all wines are aged in oak barrels of various sizes and ages. Annually, around 30,000 bottles are produced. The winery is focused on producing high quality wines, natural and authentic wines for a demanding market and wine connoisseurs.
