Glenmorangie distillery was founded back in 1843 in Tain. Today, the company is the best-known distiller of Scotch Whisky. The distillery is well known for the tallest stills in Scotland (8 meters high), which are the reason why Glenmorangie whiskeys have this incredibly smooth and elegant taste.

To mature the whiskey, only the finest oak casks are used, made of white American oak. Glenmorangie has long been known for its expertise in wood, and pioneered the art of extra- maturation, transferring spirit into ex-wine casks.

The distillation process is supervised and perfected by a group of selected craftsmen, known as the Men of Tain, along with acclaimed Director of Distilling, Whisky Creation & Whisky Stocks, Dr. Bill Lumsden.

Glenmorangie has been the best-selling single malt in Scotland almost continuously since 1983, and today is part of the Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy Group.
