Tomaz

The Tomaz winery is located at the foot of the picturesque town of Motovun. The winemaking tradition has been in the family since the 1918. Today, the winery owns about 16 ha (40 acres) of vineyards, dominated by indigenous varieties such as Istrian Malvazija, Teran, Merlot and Muscat.

The advantage of the Tomaz family vineyards lies in the microclimate conditions of the Motovun area, as they reflect the combination of the Mediterranean and continental climates, which enhances the grape ripening and gives a distinct aroma tasted in each glass of the Tomaz wine.
