Sivi pinot amfora 2008 (Pinot Gris Amphora) comes from a vintage well endowed with high sugar levels. After 15 months of ageing in 100% new French oak it matured further for 12 months in original amphorae from Georgia .
Overripe grapes and several days long skin contact are well presented already in the onion skinned colour. Maturity, dried fruits, red apples as well as vanilla and buttery touch can be found on the nose. Dry, full bodied with moderate acidity levels. Oily texture gives it additional filing of fullness.
