Rich Xiberta

Rich Xiberta was founded in 1871 by Jose Rich Vilallonga as a small family business. The business expanded significantly over the years, and today the company has factories on four continents (besides in Spain, there are factories in France, South African Republic, Chile, Argentina and the USA). The total annual production is over 120 million corks.

The Spanish pay particular attention to quality. Each cork goes through 10 different processes and analyses before delivery. This policy has resulted in many satisfied customers worldwide.

Among the many of the awards received so far, Rich Xiberta is especially proud of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification. The certification was established in 1993 in Canada with the goal of rewarding companies that pay particular attention to the protection of forests and nature. RX is the first Catalan cork factory to receive this recognition.
