Luka Krajančić was born on the island of Korčula. In 1993, he returned to his roots and to the 500-year-old tradition. He was captured by wine in a strange, inexplicable way. There is no doubt that Luka and wine really found each other, in the same way many people found his Pošip. Therefore, it is no surprise it has become one of the most favorite and most sought-after wines.
He inherited 2.7 ha (6.6 acres) of the total 3.5 ha (8.6 acres) owned today, while the rest was purchased later. An additional 1.5 ha (3.7 acres) are cultivated by his friends.
Pošip is the only variety in the vineyard, and the main person responsible for the viticulture is his mother Marija.
A small cellar in the family home is equipped with modern technology. His wines are cultivated and made in controlled conditions.
Luka is one of the first people who started applying the Sur Lie technique on Pošip, in large barrels of 750 liters. The annual wine production is 40,000 bottles, most of them Intrada.
