Markus Fine Wines

Markus Winery started its story in 2009 with the dream of producing top quality Croatian red wines. The best grapes from the Croatian coast, from old vines, were used, and the wines were aged in the finest oak. Soon the Markus winery was recognized in connoisseur circles as one of the cult "garage wineries". In 2022, Markus gets new owners and becomes Markus Fine Wines, but keeps the same winemakers and takes on a family atmosphere. A state-of-the-art winery was built in Kaštela, new vineyards were planted on Šolta, white wines are also included in the offer, and total production has increased. Markus is now a full-scale winery, offering a variety of wines and styles. It is focused on preserving the essence of grapes through traditional and modern methods. Winemakers Slaven and Ivona Jeličić, husband and wife, jointly produce wines of high elegance and sophistication.
