B10

Behind the name B10 First Night of olive oils, lies the Galić family, who a few years ago decided to move from Zagreb to Istria, more precisely to the village of Bilosavi. So B is from the name for the village where they live, and 10 for 2010 when the first harvest was done. Their oils are called First night, because after the harvest the olives are transported directly to the oil mill, where they are processed exclusively by mechanical means during the evening and night.

Olive groves are located near Grožnjan, at an altitude of 100 to 300 m, mostly in the southwestern and southeastern positions. From the varieties they grow: Istrian bjelica, carbonaca, rosignol, leccino, frantoio, ascolana and tenera, from which they produce top-quality single-variety olive oils as well as B10 Fusion blend.
