Dürnberg

Dürnberg wine estate is located in the picturesque village of Falkenstein and it is managed by winemaker Christoph Körner together with his friends and business partners Matthias Marchesani and Georg Klein.This wine estate have been pioneering the development of a “new Weinviertel style”. Every new vintage proves that the Wienviertel is Austria´s most undiscovered winegrowing area, with an incredible potential. The mixture of limestone and loam comprise the typical wine soil – the terroir - of the region. The wines exude freshness and balance, complexity on the palate and minerality as well.

Dürnberg‘s goal is to have long-lasting vinyards sothe sustainable management is at the forefront of care.Dürnberg is certified by Sustainable Austria, who has certified only 23 wineries so far, of which Dürnberg is the only one from Weinviertel.
