The story of the Kutjevo winery began in 1232. Such a long wine production in one location testifies of the exceptional terroir of Valis Aurea. The vineyards are mostly located in the southern part of Papuk and exposed to the sun and constant air circulation, which ensures high quality grapes.
Kutjevo Winery is famous for its Graševina (Welschriesling), which can be made in several variants (from fresh and mineral to predicate wines). Among Graševina, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Traminer, Pinot Noir and Zweigelt are also grown.Today Kutjevo has the richest wine archive in Croatia made out of 65.000 bottles.
