Kopjar
The Kopjar Winery is located on the border of Varaždin and Krapina-Zagorje counties, in the village of Pece, and spans 4.5 hectares of its own vineyards. Since its founding in 2012, the winery has been dedicated to organic production. The vineyards of Kopjar Winery include a wide range of grape varieties: white varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Silvaner, Graševina, Yellow Muscat, Chardonnay, and Manzoni Bianco, while the red varieties include Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir. These grapes, cultivated in harmony with optimal soil and climate conditions, enable the production of wines with rich character and strong varietal identity.
The winery has gained international recognition through numerous awards. The winery includes a cellar with a capacity of 50,000 liters and a tasting room, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy wine tastings and homemade delicacies. Kopjar Winery stands as a prime example of successful organic wine production in Croatia, with a focus on quality, varietal distinction, and international competitiveness.
