Hropić Winery

Lukša Hropić is a passionate young winemaker who, after completing his studies, decided to return to his native island and revive the cultivation of the indigenous variety Grk on Lastovo, where it once thrived but disappeared due to phylloxera and social changes. Lukša collaborates with several winemakers from Korčula, most notably Janko Jovanov from the Jovanov winery and Frano Milina from the Bire winery. He planted his first vineyards in 2017, and in 2021. the first label of his Grk was released. The winery is located on the ground floor of an old stone family house near the square where the traditional Lastovo carnival is held. It conveys a sense of modern yet warm and intimate winemaking, where hospitality and a personal touch are part of the experience.
