Bodegas Gallegas
For more than 60 years, Bodegas Gallegas has been crafting wines that express the distinctive character and rich winemaking heritage of Galicia, in north-western Spain. What began as a small family winery founded by Manuel Vázquez, has grown into one of the region’s established wine groups, while remaining true to the values on which it was built: passion, dedication, hard work and a deep respect for tradition. From its humble beginnings in Arnoia, the family business has evolved into a collection of wineries across some of Galicia’s most renowned Designations of Origin, including Rías Baixas, Ribeiro and Ribeira Sacra. Today, the next generation continues this legacy, combining generations of experience with modern winemaking techniques and a forward-looking approach. The group cultivates and selects some of Galicia’s most emblematic grape varieties, including Albariño, Godello, Treixadura and Mencía. Each variety reflects a different region’s identity, from the vibrant freshness and maritime character of Albariño to the elegance of Godello. Modern cellar practices preserve the purity of the fruit and the individuality of each vineyard, resulting in wines that combine authenticity, freshness and a strong sense of place.
