Matuško
Winemaking on the Pelješac Peninsula has a long history. It was started by the Greeks and developed by the Romans. Along the coast, you will find numerous vineyards interspersed with olive trees all throughout the Pelješac Peninsula, most in its southeastern part. The famous wine of this region is Dingač, produced in Potomje from the Plavac Mali variety.
In the small town of Borak, just below the famous vineyards, on the other side of the Dingač tunnel, there is a restaurant where you can enjoy the exceptional quality of food, primarily fresh fish seasoned with extra-virgin, cold-pressed Matuško olive oil, and premium white or red wine.
