Donatella Cinelli Colombini

The world-famous Italian winery is distinctive because women call all the shots. Besides the owner Donatella, enologists and winemakers are also women.

The winery has two estates in Tuscany, where it almost exclusively produces red wines of premium quality. These are the Prima Donna estate, with 16 ha (40 acres) of the sangiovese variety intended to produce Brunello, and the Fattoria del Colle estate, with 17 ha (42 acres) of vineyards intended for the cultivation of sangiovese, merlot and certain local varieties. The altitude of this estate and large day to night temperature variations result in a specific aroma and full body of these wines.

White wine is intended exclusively for sale in the winery’s restaurant. A total of 80% of production is exported to 26 countries worldwide. In addition to the restaurant, the winery also offers apartments, wellness, wedding planning, and almost everything you need for superior wine tourism. They also produce olive oil and grappa.
