Litterarii

Litterarii winery is located in the property Nespeš Curia, in Prigorje, near the town Sv.Ivan Zelina, a traditionally famous wine – growing region. The Curia Nespeš manor with its wine cellar, was built at the end of 18th century and soon after the vineyards were planted. The vineyards are planted with varieties of exceptional potential (Chardonnay, Sylvaner, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc) and they are located on the southern and southwestern slopes of Medvednica. Thanks to its perfect exposure and position, the superior maturity of the plantations and the ideal mesoclimate make this terroir unique on the continental Croatia wine map.

Today the vineyards and the winery are owned by Goran Hanžek, who has been more than 30 years participating in Croatian wine scene (Badel, Novigrad Winery, Meneghetti Winery).
