Delicate ruby in color. On the nose, it is strongly fruity, with aromas of strawberries and cherries and spicy notes of caramel and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is velvety, with harmonious minerality and freshness, and ripe, rounded tannins.
The wine matured on fine lees in French and American oak tonneaux barrels for nine to twelve months, and then at least another six months in bottles. 2000 bottles were produced.
