Poletti
Poletti Winery is located in Istria, in the wine-growing area of Višnjan, in the village of Markovac. Its current quality and recognition are the result of a long-standing tradition of grape growing and winemaking dating back to 1842, now carried on by the eighth generation of the family’s viticultural and winemaking heritage. The winery is run by Peter-Piero Poletti, who took over the estate in the late 1990s, expanded the vineyards, and increased the cellar capacity. Today, the estate manages nine hectares of vineyards and produces six labels, Malvazija istarska, Malvazija Classic, Chardonnay, Refošk, Cabernet sauvignon, Merlot, and Muškat ruža. Poletti wines are featured on the wine lists of many renowned Istrian restaurants and beyond.
