Just as there are "Drink Specific" glasses designed for specific beverages, there are also "Grape Varietal Specific" lines intended for particular grape varieties. The idea of creating a glass to each variety practically created the face of modern RIEDEL. Light, yet complex and fresh wines like those made from Pinot require plenty of contact with air but do not tolerate excessive swirling or the loss of aromas. This is where the idea of a glass with a wide bowl and a stronger narrowing towards the top and rim comes from. This is truly a glass for Pinot. The packaging contains two machine-made glasses, dishwasher safe.
