Sparkling wine Memoria is made from 100% riesling from Potkova appellation. The grapes were picked early, at the end of August, to preserve the natural acidity. The wine was made using the traditional method, and after secondary fermentation in bottles, it was aged for 36 months on fine lees. The dégorgement was done without the addition of dosage liqueur, so the sparkling wine is Brut nature, aged for an additional 3 months before being released on the market. The result is a greenish-yellow sparkling wine, smelling of brioche, vanilla, pineapple and green apple. The taste is dominated by ripe fruit, yellow apple, pineapple, apricot, with mild citrus in the background. The yeasty aromas of toast and brioche are emphasized. The creamy fruity-bready taste stays in the mouth just as long as it should.
