Every Grand Vintage is a reinvention, an affirmation of know-how, by the Chef de Cave to reveal each vintage's unique character. Moët Grand Vintage 2016 is made with 48% Chardonnay, 34% Pinot Noir and 18% Pinot Meunier.
Grand Vintage 2016 is the 77th vintage in Moët & Chandon’s history. Aged for six years in barrels and six more months in the bottles, the result is champagne with a golden yellow color and green reflection. At first contact with the champagne, aromas of toasted bread, grains and hazelnut are felt, followed by notes of gingerbread and marzipan. Yet, the ones the most long-lasting and the most present are the notes of white flowers, plums and quince. On the palate, it is gentle yet layered. Aromas of clementine and pomelo are dominant. A long-lasting, fresh and sweet finish.
