Malvasia is obtained by vinification on yeasts until spring and is then bottled. A small amount of malvasia is vinified in barrique barrels, which produces very interesting results. Careful processing of must using cold maceration gives this wine an irreplaceable fullness of taste. Its aroma of flowers and resin, and a bouquet of the Mediterranean atmosphere make this wine an ideal pairing for fish and seafood. If served at a slightly higher temperature, it goes well with white meat and white truffle dishes.

A special place in the entire RIEDEL company program is held by the “Malvazija” glass. What almost created the modern face of RIEDEL is the “varietal specific” glassware program, glasses designed for a specific grape variety, that is, for wines made from that variety. In cooperation with our winemakers and professionals from the wine world, a glass specifically intended for Istrian Malvasia was thus created. This exceptionally successful model was later adopted, with minor modifications, for many other glasses, which only speaks in favor of a well-conceived design. The package contains four machine-made glasses that are dishwasher safe.
