RIEDEL Sakura Decanter – Pink / White

The RIEDEL Sakura Decanter conveys a symbolic message of optimism and renewal. Designed by Maximilian J. Riedel in 2020, it draws inspiration from Japan’s national flower, the cherry blossom, a symbol of change and hope. The decanter’s minimalist shape is accentuated by a delicate floral motif at its centre, combining artistic expression with refined functionality. Sakura is suitable for wines of all ages and transforms serving wine into a special ritual of beauty and elegance. Made from crystal glass, each decanter is individually mouth-blown by master glassmakers in RIEDEL’s workshops. The combination of traditional craftsmanship and thoughtful design allows the wine to develop, enhancing its aromas and flavours while softening the tannins. The decanter is designed to hold a standard 750 ml bottle of wine, providing ample space for the wine to develop. RIEDEL Sakura comes in a combination of pink and white, and due to its handcrafted nature, each piece is unique. It is intended for hand washing only to preserve its delicate shape and crystal brilliance.
