Romain Duvernay
Romain Duvernay is a French oenologist and winemaker renowned for his dedicated work in the Rhône Valley, one of France’s most important wine regions. After gaining an experience in various winemaking areas, including Bordeaux, Languedoc, and Burgundy, Duvernay fell in love with the Rhône terroir and decided to develop his own wine business there. In 2016, marketing expert Jean-Marc Pottiez, who had previously worked with several prestigious champagne houses, joined the company. Their portfolio includes wines from well-known appellations such as Côtes du Rhône, Cairanne, Rasteau, Vacqueyras, and Crozes-Hermitage, with each wine telling the story of its soil, grape variety, and climate. The style of Romain Duvernay wines is defined by elegance, balance, and aromatic richness and the most used varieties in production are Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre. Combining traditional winemaking techniques with a modern approach gives Romain Duvernay wines their distinctive personality, both authentic and contemporary. Thanks to this philosophy, wines are now recognized by lovers around the world as a symbol of exceptional value and quality, and as a modern interpretation of the timeless spirit of the Rhône Valley.
