Châteauneuf-du-Pape (Pope's Summer Residence) is a prestigious French appellation located in the Rhône Valley, renowned for its powerful and complex wines. Covering a total of 3,200 hectares, the wines here are produced from up to thirteen different grape varieties. Wines from this region are rich and elegant, perfectly reflecting the terroir of this historic wine-growing area.

The varieties used in the production of Cardinal Châteauneuf-du-Pape are Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre. The wine is aged for fifteen months in oak barrels, with 30% of them being new. With a deep ruby red color, on the nose are present aromas of raspberries, blackberries, and blackcurrant, with a subtle hint of sweet spices. Full-bodied on the palate, with silky and velvety tannins. The wine with a long and fruity finish.
