On the right bank of the RhĂ´ne River, on the terraced vineyards of the Central Massif, the Viognier grapevine thrives. These few hectares of vineyards make up one of the smallest appellations in the world, Condrieu. According to some records, it is believed that the Viognier variety originates from this very region.
Magnificat Condrieu is a 100% Viognier from Romain Duvernay. The entire vinification process takes place under strictly controlled conditions, and after fermentation, one part of the wine is aged in new oak barrels. The wine has a pronounced golden color, with pleasant floral and fruity aromas dominated by notes of vineyard peaches and apricots. On the palate, it is velvety, smooth, and beautifully balanced, with a touch of a pleasant freshness.
