Clase Azul Mezcal Durangois artisanally crafted with cenizo agave (Agave durangensis), a variety of agave native to the highlands of the state of Durango in Northern Mexico. The cenizo agave cores used for this spirit are slow-cooked in pit ovens with firewood and volcanic rocks; a process that gives the liquid its smoky character and charred agave notes. Crystal clear with citric and herbal aromas, with notes of green olive and clove. The palate is rich with sweet notes of peanut, smoked wood, chocolade and hints of ripe fruit.
