This is an exceptional cuvée from the red soil of Istria. Merlot, cabernet sauvignon, terrano and borgonja (blaufränkisch) contribute to the final impression, as does the careful aging process. Part of the wine is aged in barrique barrels and part in 500-liter puncheons from 12 to 14 months, depending on the year, followed by another 6 months in stainless steel containers. Excellently preserved color - deep, muted ruby with purple reflections. The wine was softened by aging, it is pleasant and smooth, full of the aroma of berries, hot spices and plum jam.
