The Del Professore products reflect the individual stories, dreams and commitment of the people behind them and are an expression of the Piedmont, the land from which they hail. The Piedmont’s biodiversity and agricultural culture offer us an incredible array of fine natural raw materials from which we select many of our ingredients. These quality raw materials are essential for our products and treated with the greatest respect, just like the complex herbal recipes that constitute the historical heritage of our distillery founded in the Asti district in 1890.

This is the origin of our unique and distinctive products, which reflect the evolution of men and a region in a constant quest to create the perfect balance from the wonderful imperfections of nature.

In the late 18th century Italian herbalists with expertise in preparing remedies created the world’s first luxury drinks, and the spirits which spawned today’s pre-dinner drinks and cocktails were born. In our research, we looked back at this golden age of Italian spirit making with the aim of reviving this craft tradition, respecting certain simple principles: a strong tie with the local area of production, people and traditions, respect for good, natural ingredients and the know-how and time required by the artisans who produce them.
