Zure

Zure Winery is located in the small yet renowned wine-growing region of Lumbarda on the island of Korčula. Founded in 2005, Zure quickly gained a reputation as one of the key producers in the region, dedicated to creating high-quality wines that reflect the uniqueness of the Dalmatian terroir. The winery’s vineyards span around 20 hectares, located near the sea, where the mild Mediterranean climate allows the cultivation of top-quality grape varieties. Zure Winery is recognized for its focus on indigenous Croatian grape varieties, particularly Pošip and Grk, which form the foundation of their finest wines. Pošip, the symbol of Lumbarda, is used to produce fresh, aromatic white wines, while Grk, a rare variety that grows exclusively in this area, produces unique, mineral wines with rich flavors. In addition to indigenous varieties, Zure also produces wines from other international varieties such as Chardonnay and Merlot. Zure Winery strives for sustainability and innovation in production, aiming to preserve tradition while enhancing quality through modern winemaking techniques.
