One of the few mono-varietal Petit Verdot editions, which is typically used as a blending grape in a Bordeaux-style blend. Rich, dark ruby colour, with characteristic violet notes and aromas of black cherries and plums. On the palate, it's warm and juicy, very complex and full-bodied, with finely rounded tannins and ripe, dark fruit flavors. After alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, it was aged for about 4 years in barrique and tonneau barrels made of French oak (mostly already used), which made the wine even more rounded and softened, and added some notes of sweet spices such as cloves and vanilla. This is a wine that is definitely worth trying, especially if you are a fan of stronger red wines, because it will simply surprise you with its complexity and richness of taste.
