Veuve Clicquot Vintage Rosé 2015 is a reflection of an excellent vintage, a year with low rainfall and lots of sunny days. The year 2015 became the 67th vintage of the champagne house Veuve Clicquot (since the first vintage in 1810).
The predominance of Pinot Noir with the touch (10%) of wines produced in oak casks and the prolonged aging on the lees give the power and aromatic richness so typical of Veuve Clicquot Vintage style. The Vintage Rosé 2015 blend is elaborated with 13% of red still wine, exclusively from the Pinot Noir of Bouzy Grand Cru.
Veuve Clicquot Vintage Rosé 2015 combines floral notes such as jasmine, orange blossom and lime blossom with citrus aromas such as lemon and tangerine. It also reveals hints of orchard fruit, berries and spices (clove, saffron and vanilla). The finish is harmonious and well-structured, characterized by woody notes, aromas of brioche and green tea.
