Rioja Gran Reserva is a blend of 70% Temperanillo, 15% Garnacha and 15% Manzuelo. The vineyards, which are approximately 80 years old are located on the south of Monte Verga. This wine is produced only in top quality vintages. The fermentation is done in steinless steel tanks and then the wine is aged in American oak barrels for at least 18 months, and then in the bottle for minimum 4 years.
The wine has a deep, ruby color. On the nose dominate aromas of dried fruit, toast and spices. The wine is well structured, with complex fruit flavors. The finish is very long and elegant.
