Scapegrace Vaguard is a smoked, single malt whisky, which gets its smokiness from  a native plant from New Zealand, manuka, which is also used in honey production. The whiskey is enriched by aromas of menthol and eucalyptus in combination with notes of forest floor. It matured in virgin French oak barrels for three years. On the palate there are notes of vanilla, aromas of coconut biscuits, lemon posset and poached pears. Elegant, rich and with a medium-long finish.
